Some folks just don't get our enthusiasm for the Core Program, ya know? One guy in particular likes to give us a hard
time about the food we eat. This recipe is dedicated to him. (Just goes to show our "restrictive" diet doesn't restrict our
sense of humor!)
Please follow the instructions carefully!
Ingredients:
1 C grubs (organic are best) 4 C assorted twigs (I use pine and elm) 1 cubic yard grass (be sure you haven't fertilized
recently- nor the dog!) 1 lb roots (any type)
Procedure:
Steam grubs in mineral water. Takes about 1.5 hours. Peel and chop twigs and add to grubs (may have to add some vegetable
broth) Add grass by the handful until mixture takes on a sickly green color. Stir in roots. Cook, stirring constantly,
for 5 hours. Serve over something really gloppy. (I use a mixture of cream of wheat, corn meal, lentils, and kashi.)
This
is really delicious and will keep you full for HOURS! Feel free to add obscure spices as desired.
